My Stage Fun Summer Camp

It was Monday, I was in the car with my mom and we were headed to LeTerneau University for my summer camp. I was very excited about it, but also I was very nervous, because I wouldn’t know anyone there.
I went inside, and said, “WOW!” there were lots of people there.  My mom helped me find where I was supposed to go.  The teachers helper, Wesley, was there, and when everyone that was in our camp got there, we headed to the classroom.  It was a HUGE room with lots of chairs and even a stage in front!  We sat down on the stage, there were six of us, not counting the teacher and the helper.  Then, the teacher said to us “We are going to go around and get to know one another.
When I point to you say your name, age, and what school you go to!”  So, that we did.  Each day had a moral, each moral had a story.  Then on Wednesday a seventh kid showed up.  That day we were talking about putting on a play for the other campers!  We went for spooky and creepy, but that day we got so caught up in our ideas for our play, that it turned into sort of a movie!
Anyway, the teacher decided that she would go home and pick out a play that involved most of our ideas in it.  Then the next day, we went to the classroom.  Again we sat on the stage, and looked at our lines. We discussed who was playing who.
There was a gypsy, Frankenstein, Vampira, Igor, Tombstone, Dracula, and Wolfman.  We talked about our costumes and make-up.  Then, on Thursday, we brought our costumes, put them on, practiced, and then when we were putting on our make-up for the play, the gypsy’s crystal ball broke!  It was okay though, because the teacher made one up. It was a balloon wrapped in foil, with a fake crown holding it up. Later, we put on our play, Meet Dr.Frankenstein: a Group of Ghouls. I played Vampira- a siren that “vants” to be alone.  I had to “scare” the girl that had entered the haunted house, when she touched my nose. It was very hard not to smile when we were supposed to “freeze”, so I just decided to smile when I froze!  The setting of the play was a sinister, gloomy room in a haunted house hat supposedly belonged to Dr.Frankenstein. The ending was fun, because we got to make fun of one of our lines!  I said “I played Vampira, and I vant to be left alone!” When I said that I put mu thumb up to my nose, and waved my fingers, also I crossed my eyes!  The gypsy got to say her name, and then she said, “and your fortune says… CATCH!”  Then she threw the balloon part of the crystal ball into the audience!  Later, we ate snacks, and watched T.V.!
